This little Angel holds the key to your dreams!
We flew back from Hyderabad via Dubai to Munich. In Dubai I just put my camera on the ground of the conveyor and took a couple of shots. First I thought "Damn those people in my shot!" but then, when I developed the shot I thought thy god that they have been there because they make the pic somehow special!
I visited the track of the Regensburg Marathon 2011 with my D700 and the Sigma 70-200 lens to shoot some pictures.
As one of the favorites passed by I took some pictures (6 frames per second) and this one came out perfect for me: The black runner Joel Chepkopol passed by some pedestrian. I decided to develop it in black and white to stress the expression "Black and White".
Hope you like it, I do!

We had a company outing in the Austrian alps (Near Innsbruck) and spent the night on a cottage up on the mountain. In the morning I sneaked out of the 10-ppl. bedroom in order to get some morning shots. This is one of them! As the overall dynamic in the original image was quite poor I made a fake HDR out of a single RAW and tonemapped (Both in photomatix), and finaly some tweaks in Lightroom! Hope you like the picture!
I did some HDR bracketing shoots but this one turned out to be perfect without merging and tonemapping it. Just turned it b/w and did some tweals in Lightroom, there you go!

The cathedral "Santa Maria Nuova" north of Palermo, Sicily, is famous for it's mosaics, inside the church as well as outside!
I got a new Espresso machine for christmas (Well I gave it to myself, rewarding for all the good things I've done in 2011) and so my sister brought some nice fresh grinded coffee directly from Palermo. It is a lil' bit bitter, but got some real italian flavour.
The machine is a "Gaggia Classic" and I really like it. Great to get into the italian coffee stuff if you are not so much into those full-autmoatic-machines!
During our vacation in 2010 we did a walk in the sunset and my girl just proceeded while I did some pictures of the atlantic sea. So I had do catch up, but first I made this photo.
